Air fryer grilled chicken legs
Compared with chicken wings, chicken legs have more and more tender meat. When grilled, they are full of the aroma of meat and are the favorite of the children at home.
Choose fresh pipa legs, wash them thoroughly and use kitchen paper to absorb the moisture on the surface. This way, they will be more flavorful when baked and the crust will be crisper.
Then prepare a simple marinade: one spoonful of light soy sauce, half a spoonful of dark soy sauce (for coloring), one spoonful of honey, a little salt, a few slices of ginger, and a few cloves of minced garlic. Put the chicken legs in and mix well by hand to ensure each leg is coated with the marinade. Marinate for 30 minutes (if time is tight, 15 minutes can also allow the flavors to seep in, but the taste will be slightly milder).
Preheat the air fryer to 180℃ for 3 minutes in advance. Line the bottom with a layer of tin foil (for easy cleaning later). Place the marinated chicken legs with the skin facing down and bake at 180℃ for 20 minutes. Remember to turn them over once in the middle to ensure both sides of the chicken legs are golden brown.
The roasted chicken legs have a faint burnt aroma on the outside. When bitten into, the meat inside is so tender that it can release juice. The sweetness of the honey and the freshness of the soy sauce have fully seeped into the meat, and it is not tough at all. Eating it with rice, children can eat half a bowl more. Moreover, no excessive oil is needed, so it is also reassuring to eat.
